TNU7U402: 2 x 100 Gbit/s Universal Line Service Processing Board

 

 

The TNU7U402 board is a hybrid line board and supports a mixture of OTN, SDH, and packet services. The TNU7U402 board processes and converts the received service signals into two OTU4 signals, which are carried over ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelengths. The TNU7U402 board uses coherent receiving technologies and applies to coherent systems.

 

 

The TNU7U402 board consists of an OTN processing module, VC cross-connect module, SDH processing module, fabric interface circuit, traffic manager, packet processor, WDM-side optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Latency measurement

The board supports latency measurement in the WDM-side optical port direction (upstream direction). It supports latency measurement at the PM and TCM layers.

  • The board supports TCM-layer latency measurement for higher-order ODU4 channels. When lower-order ODUk cross-connections are created, the board supports TCM-layer latency measurement for ODUk channels and PM/TCM-layer latency measurement for higher-order ODU4 channels.
  • When VPs are created, the board supports PM/TCM-layer latency measurement for higher-order and lower-order ODUk channels.
  • The board supports PM and TCM latency measurement for the OSUflex channels.

NOTE:

  • OSU supported through the OSU cross-connect extended board.
  • In the OSU application scenario, unidirectional delay measurement is not supported, and only bidirectional delay measurement is supported.
