TNU6U502 is a universal line board that supports hybrid transmission of OTN, SDH, and packet services and converts received service signals into OTU signals.

 

 

The TNU6U502 board consists of a fabric interface circuit, traffic manager, packet processor, OTN processing module, VC cross-connect module, SDH processing module, WDM-side optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Implements mutual conversion between OTN signals and two OTU4/OTUC2 signals.

Backplane capacity

The maximum capacity is 400 Gbit/s.

WDM specification

Supports the DWDM specifications.

Tunable wavelength

Supports tunable wavelengths of WDM-side optical signals in Super C band (1524 nm to 1573 nm).

FEC coding

  • 200G 16QAM, 200G 16QAM-H: Supports SDFEC encoding.
  • Other modulation formats: Supports SDFEC2 encoding.

100G line mode:

Latency measurement

  • The board supports latency measurement in the WDM-side optical port direction (upstream direction). When higher-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the line board, TCM section latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODUk channels. When lower-order ODUk cross-connections are created on the line board, PM/TCM section latency measurement is supported for higher-order ODUk channels, and TCM section latency measurement is supported for lower-order ODUk channels.
  • The board supports PM and TCM latency measurement at the ODUCn layer.

NOTE:

When VPs are configured, the board supports measuring the PM/TCM latency of higher-order and lower-order ODUk channels.
