TNU6U402: 2 x 100Gbit/s Universal Line Service Processing Board

The TNU6U402 board has only one variant: TNU6U402C01.

The U6U402 board is a hybrid line board and supports a mixture of OTN, SDH, and packet services. The U6U402 board processes and converts the received service signals into two OTU4 signals, which are carried over ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelengths. The U6U402 board uses coherent receiving technologies and applies to coherent systems.

The U6U402 board supports the mixed transmission of OTN, SDH and packet services. It supports Layer 2 switching, MPLS-TP, and OTN interfaces.

The U6U402 board supports ODUk, packet services and VC-4 services only when it works in line mode.

The U6U402 board consists of an OTN processing module, VC cross-connect module, SDH processing module, fabric interface circuit, traffic manager, packet processor, WDM-side optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Function and Feature	Description
OTN functions	Supports the OTU4 interface on the WDM side. Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined in ITU-T G.709. OTU4 layer: supports SM overhead processing. ODUk (k = 0, 1, 2, 2e, 3, 4, flex) layer: supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
