TNU6U316: 16*25G Universal Line Service Processing Board

 

 

The TNU6U316 board is a universal line board that supports hybrid transmission of OTN, SDH, and packet services and converts received service signals into OTU signals.

 

 

The TNU6U316 board consists of a fabric interface circuit, traffic manager, packet processor, OTN processing module, VC cross-connect module, SDH processing module, WDM-side optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Function and Feature

Description

Basic function

Supports conversion between a maximum of 320 ODU0, 160 ODU1, 32 ODU2(e), or 320 ODUflex signals and OTU25v signals.

Backplane capacity

  • The maximum capacity is 400 Gbit/s when the U32 enhanced subrack works in 2:5 mode (using U1UCXCS/U3UCXCS/U4UCXCS), the U64 enhanced subrack (using U1UCXCS/U3UCXCS/U4UCXCS), or the M24 subrack works in 1:3 mode.
  • The maximum capacity is 200 Gbit/s when the U32 enhanced subrack works in 2:2 mode, the U32/U64 enhanced subrack (using U3UXCS), the U32/U64 standard subrack, or the M24 subrack works in 1:1 mode.

NOTE:

When the backplane bandwidth is 200 Gbit/s, only the first eight ports IN1/OUT1 to IN8/OUT8 can be used as line ports. In this case, the last eight ports IN9/OUT9 to IN16/OUT16 support bidirectional regeneration.

WDM specification

Supports the DWDM specifications.

Tunable wavelength

Supports tunable wavelength optical modules that provide for 96 wavelengths tunable in the extended C band with 50 GHz channel spacing.

  • When VPs are created, the board supports PM/TCM-layer latency measurement for higher-order and lower-order ODUk channels.

Supports WDM-side inloops and outloops.

Alarm and performance event monitoring

  • Supports the monitoring of BIP8 bytes (Bursty mode) to help locate line failures.
  • Monitors parameters such as the bias current, temperature, and optical power of the laser.
