TNU5U402 Is Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 Universal Line Service Processing Board
Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 Universal Line Service Processing Board TNU5U402 Overview
TNU5U402: 2 x 100 Gbit/s Universal Line Service Processing Board
The U402 board is a hybrid line board and supports hybrid transmission of OTN, SDH, and packet services. The U402 board processes and converts the received service signals into two OTU4 signals that are carried over ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelengths. The U402 board uses coherent receiving technologies and applies to coherent systems.
The U402 board consists of a fabric interface circuit, traffic manager, packet processor, OTN processing module, VC cross-connect module, SDH processing module, WDM-side optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.
In addition to logical ports on the U402 board, this topic describes how the physical ports on the board are displayed on the NMS.
This topic lists the U402 board parameters that can be set or queried by using the NMS.
Functions and Features of the TNU5U402 Board
Function and Feature |
Description |
Backplane capacity |
The total backplane bandwidth is 200 Gbit/s. |
WDM specification |
Supports ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM specifications. |
Tunable wavelength |
Supports tunable wavelengths of WDM-side optical signals in Super C band (1524 nm to 1573 nm). |
FEC coding |
|
Line modulation format |
|
OTN overhead protocol |
Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709. |
OTN overhead |
NOTE: OSU supported through the OSU cross-connect extended board. |
OSU |
Supported NOTE:
|
Intra-board 1+1 protection |
Supported NOTE: Supports intra-board 1+1 protection when working with optical protection boards. |
ODUk SNCP |
Supported NOTE: ODUk SNCP protection is not supported when packet services are cross-connected from the backplane. |
OSUflex SNCP |
Supported NOTE: OSU supported through the OSU cross-connect extended board. |
Tributary SNCP |
Supported NOTE: The board does not support tributary SNCP protection when receiving packet services. |
Electrical-layer ASON |
Supported |
Optical-layer ASON |
Supported NOTE: In versions earlier than V100R007C00SPC500, ASON is not supported in high SOP mode. In V100R007C00SPC500 and later versions, only ASON without optical parameters is supported in high SOP mode. |
Digital optical label |
When LS Ability is enabled, the board supports loading low-frequency pilot-tone modulation signals and overheads during wavelength conversion, and can work the optical-layer board that supports the digital optical label function to detect optical power and overheads and report optical performance data. |
Physical clock |
Supported NOTE: When the ODU cross-connect granularity of an OTN line port is set to the maximum granularity supported by the port, physical clock synchronization is not supported. The physical clock can be used only after lower-order ODU cross-connections are configured. |
IEEE 1588v2 |
Supported |
ITU-T G.8275.1 |
Supported |
ITU-T G.8273.2 |
Supported NOTE: The board does not support ITU-T G.8273.2 when the system control board is U2CTU. |
Outband DCN |
Supports communication over ESCs. |
