TNU1NP800SE: 1 x 400G turbo WDM Line Service Processing Board, extended to 800G(single-fiber bidirectional)

 

The NP800S/NP800SE board can be used with the TNU4CTU board.

 

NP800S and NP800SE are single-slot turbo WDM boards.

 

The NP800S board can be independently used in a 400G system or work with the NP800SE board in a 800G system.

 

The NP800SE board must work with the NP800S board in a 800G system.

 

NP800S and NP800SE are turbo WDM boards. The NP800S board can be independently used in a 400G system or work with the NP800SE board in a 800G system. The NP800SE board must work with the NP800S board. The NP800S+NP800SE can also work with the NP200 or NP400 to apply to 1.7T or 1.8T system, respectively.

 

The NP800S board supports single-fiber bidirectional transmission. When used alone, the NP800S board can be directly applied to a 400G system with an insertion loss less than 20 dB (60 km@0.3 dB/km) and no OA is configured to access 400G services.

Implements mutual conversion of 400G signals: 320xODU0/320xODUflex/160xODU1/40xODU2/40xODU2e/8xODU3/4xODU4<->OTUC4. OTUC4 is a standard DWDM wavelength that complies with ITU-T G.694.1.

Supports hybrid transmission of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2, ODU2e, ODUflex, ODU3, and ODU4.

 

The NP800S and NP800SE implement optical-to-electrical conversion of 400G signals separately: 320xODU0/320xODUflex/160xODU1/40xODU2/40xODU2e/8xODU3/4xODU4<->OTUC4. OTUC4 is a standard DWDM wavelength that complies with ITU-T G.694.1. That is, the NP800S outputs one OTUC4 optical signal, and the NP800SE also outputs one OTUC4 optical signal.

 

The NP800S multiplexes and demultiplexes two channels of optical signals. That is, the OTUC4 optical signals output by the NP800SE are sent to the NP800S. The NP800S integrates one channel of OTUC4 optical signals output by itself and one channel of OTUC4 optical signals output by the NP800SE into one channel of multiplexed optical signals. The multiplexed signal contains two OTUC4 signals and four wavelengths.

The board supports single-fiber bidirectional transmission.

Cross-connect capabilities

Supports the cross-connection of 320 x ODU0/ODUflex signals or 160 x ODU1 signals or 40 x ODU2/ODU2e signals or 8 x ODU3 signals or 4 x ODU4 signals between the NP800S/NP800SE and the cross-connect board.

OTN function

  • Supports the OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709.
  • OTUC4 layer: Supports SM overhead processing.
  • ODUC4 layer: Supports PM overhead processing.
  • ODUk (k=0, 1, 2, 2e, 3, 4, flex) layer: Supports PM and TCM overhead processing, and non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
