TNU1N801: 1*400G/600G/800G Line Service Processing Board

 

 

The TNU1N801 board can be used as a line board or a regeneration board, and its port mode can be set to 400G, 600G or 800G as required.

 

 

The TNU1N801 board consists of WDM-side optical module, Singal processing module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

 

 

The TNU1N801 board electrically regenerates unidirectional OTU optical signals, which are carried over DWDM wavelengths at both the transmit and receive ends.

The optical receiver receives the optical signals to be regenerated through IN optical ports and converts them into electrical signals.

The OTN processing module performs FEC decoding, overhead processing, and FEC encoding, which is the process of reshaping, regenerating, and retiming the electrical signals and mapping them into OTN-frame signals.

The OTN processing module then sends the OTN-frame signals to the optical transmitter. After performing E/O conversion, the optical transmitter produces and sends out OTU optical signals over DWDM wavelengths through the OUT port.

When LS Ability is enabled, the board supports loading low-frequency pilot-tone modulation signals and overheads during wavelength conversion, and can work the optical-layer board that supports the digital optical label function to detect optical power and overheads and report optical performance data.

Latency measurement

  • When ODU4 higher order cross-connections are created on the board, the board supports the TCM latency measurement of the higher order ODU4 channel. When lower order ODUk cross-connections are established, the PM/TCM latency measurement of higher order ODU4 channels and TCM latency measurement of lower order ODUk channels is supported.
  • Supports PM and TCM latency measurement at the ODUCn layer.
