TNS2N504C01 Is Huawei OSN 9800 OTN Line Service Processing Board
Huawei OSN 9800 OTN Line Service Processing Board TNS2N504C01 03025MAV Overview
TNS2N504C01: 4*200G/100G Line Service Processing Board (CFP,OTN)
An N504 board consists of a WDM-side optical module, a signal processing module, a control and communication module, and a power module. The overall board function is the sum of functions provided by the two ports, and the function of each port varies depending on the port mode. Therefore, the following describes working principles and signal flows by port mode.
The N504 board processes and converts the received service signals into four OTU4/OTUC2 or two OTUC4 signals, which are carried over ITU-T G.694.1-compliant DWDM wavelengths. The N504 board uses coherent receiving technologies and applies to coherent systems.
In addition to logical ports on the N504 board, this topic describes how the physical ports on the board are displayed on the NMS.

Digital optical label |
When LS Ability is enabled, the board supports loading low-frequency pilot-tone modulation signals and overheads during wavelength conversion, and can work the optical-layer board that supports the digital optical label function to detect optical power and overheads and report optical performance data. |
Physical clock |
Supported NOTE: When the ODU cross-connect granularity of an OTN line port is set to the maximum granularity supported by the port, physical clock synchronization is not supported. The physical clock can be used only after lower-order ODU cross-connections are configured. |
