TNG4SL64S: 1*STM-64 Optical Interface Board

The SL64S optical interface board is a SDH board and used on the WDM/OTN equipment to receive and transmit one STM-64 optical signal. The SL64S board converts the received optical signals into electrical signals and sends the electrical signals to the cross-connect side. In addition, the SL64S board converts the electrical signals from the cross-connect side into optical signals and transmits the optical signals.

The SL64S board mainly consists of the line-side optical module, SDH processing module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Overhead processing	Supports OTN frame format and overhead processing defined by ITU-T G.709. The mapping process complies with ITU-T G.7041 and ITU-T G.709. Processes the section overheads of STM-64 signals. Supports transparent transmission and termination of path overheads. Supports setting and query of J0/J1/C2 bytes. Supports ECC communication. Supports DCC transparent transmission for a maximum of any one port. Bytes D1-D3 and D4-D12 are transparently transmitted. Provides orderwire byte channels. NOTE: Deleting a logical port that receives STM-64 services interrupts DCN communication on the port.
Port specifications	Supports SFP+/TSFP+ pluggable optical modules. Supports detection and query of information about optical modules as well as alarm reporting. Provides the ALS function. The optical port supports the setting of the on/off state of a laser.
