High-precision clock synchronization

- The NE can implement high-precision time synchronization only after the corresponding license is obtained.
- To support high-precision clock synchronization, the board must work with the subracks and system control boards that support high-precision clocks. For details, see the Clock Synchronization Feature Guide.

Latency measurement

- When OTN services are received on the client side, TCM latency measurement is supported in the optical port direction (downstream direction).

Channel loopback
|
Supports channel inloops and outloops.
NOTE:
ODU0 channel loopbacks are supported only when the port working mode is ODU1_ODU0.

Port loopback
|
- Supports inloops and outloops on the client side.
- Supports ODUk inloops and outloops on the client side.
NOTE:
- When the board works in ODU1 convergence mode, you must configure intra-board cross-connections before performing loopbacks. Otherwise, the loopbacks become abnormal.
- The board supports ODUk inloops and outloops only when non-OTN services are received, the port working mode is non-convergence, and bidirectional cross-connections are configured.
- When the service type is set to None, setting inloops, outloops, and ODUk outloops is not supported.
- When non-OTN services are received, the PRBS in the backplane direction can be used only with ODUk loopbacks.

Alarm and performance event monitoring
|
- Monitors BIP8 bytes (Bursty mode) to facilitate line fault locating.
- Monitors B1 bytes to facilitate line fault locating.
- Monitors OTN alarms and performance events.
- Monitors the laser bias current, laser operating temperature, and optical power.
