The TNG3M504D board is an optical transponder unit (OTU) that converts client services into OTU signals.

 

The TNG3M504D board consists of the client-side optical module, WDM-side optical module, signal processing module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Description

Basic function

The board can convert client-side services into OTU signals,the client-side service supports hybrid transmission of different services, for details about the service types, number of channels, and mapping paths supported by different ports, see Applications.

Client-side service type

  • 100GE: at a rate of 103.125 Gbit/s
  • OTU4: at a rate of 111.81 Gbit/s

Service mapping mode

100GE: Bit Transparent Mapping ODU4, MAC Transparent Mapping ODU4.

WDM specification

Supports the DWDM specifications.

Tunable wavelength

When a wavelength-tunable optical module is configured, WDM-side optical signals are tunable in Super C band (1524 nm to 1573 nm).
