TNG3M48V01: 48-channel multiplexing board (Extended C-band)

As a type of optical multiplexing unit, the TNG3M48V01 board multiplexes a maximum of 48 extended C channels of signals into one channel of signals that comply with ITU-T Recommendations.

The TNG3M48V01 board consists of the optical module, detection and temperature control module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Each of the M01-M48 optical interfaces receives one channel of single-wavelength optical signals, and sends the signals to the multiplexer. The multiplexer multiplexes the 48 channels of single-wavelength optical signals into one channel of multiplexed optical signals, and then outputs them through the OUT optical interface.

Multiplexing/Demultiplexing	D48 board: Demultiplexes one multi-wavelength signal into a maximum of 48 single-wavelength signals. D4801: demultiplexes one multi-wavelength signal into 48 channels of even-wavelength optical signals with a fixed channel spacing of 100 GHz. D4802: demultiplexes one multi-wavelength signal into 48 channels of odd-wavelength optical signals with a fixed channel spacing of 100 GHz.
Online optical performance monitoring	Provides an in-service monitoring port. Through this optical port, a small number of optical signals can be output to an optical spectrum analyzer or an optical spectrum analyzer board. In this manner, the spectrum and optical performance of the multiplexed optical signals can be monitored without interrupting services.
