Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 System Control and Communication Board TNG3CXP Overview
TNG3CXP: Universal Cross Connect, System Control and Clock Processing Board
The TNG1CXP, TNG3CXP, and TNG4CXP boards cannot be used together in the same subrack.
When the TNG3CXP board is used with the TNG3CXCS board, only the TNG3CXCS02 board is supported.
The G3CXP board has two micro switches on its front panel. You must turn on the two micro switches before inserting or removing the board. Turning on any of the two micro switches causes a warm reset of the board. Therefore, do not turn on the micro switches if not needed.
After the two micro switches on the front panel of the G3CXP board are enabled, check whether the XCS_ACT indicator on the board is off. You can remove and then re-insert the G3CXP board only when the XCS_ACT indicator is off. Otherwise, services may be adversely affected.
The BIOS DIP switch and Ethernet mode DIP switch can be set inside a G3CXP board.
TNG3CXP board is a system control and cross-connect board that provides the following functions: manages boards together with the NMS, cross-connects and protects ODUk (k = 0, 1, 2, 2e, 3, 4, or flex) signals, OSUflex, VC-4 signals and packet signals inside a subrack, and interworks with other products.
