TNG2ADC0824: Add and drop unit with contentionless function (Super C-band)

As a type of wavelength selective switching board, the ADC0824 board is used with the optical add and drop multiplexing board to implement wavelength grooming at the nodes in the DWDM network.

The ADC0824 board consists of ADWSS optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Functions and Features of the TNG2ADC0824 Board

Function and Feature	Description
Basic function	Implements optical-layer service grooming for multiple wavelengths, and support contentionless. Wavelength adding: Adds 24 any coherent wavelength signals to any optical port among AM01 to AM24 and outputs them from any optical port among OUT1 to OUT8. The wavelength services that are added from the same AM optical port can be transmitted only to an any OUT optical port, and the same wavelength services cannot be added to the same OUT optical port. Wavelength dropping: Receives at most 24 coherent wavelength signals from 8 line-side optical ports and grooms the received signals to any DM optical port for wavelength dropping. The optical signals of the same wavelength can be dropped from different DM optical ports, but one DM optical port can receive services of only one IN optical port.
WDM specification	Supports the DWDM specifications.
Spectrum application	Supports Super C-band wavelengths. Supports flexible grid wavelength signals. The channel spacing is n x slice. (The minimum slice is 6.25 GHz. The value of n ranges from 6 to 64. That is, a single channel is adjustable within the range of 37.5 GHz to 400 GHz.)
Optical power detection	Optical power detection Supported only by the following interfaces: Interfaces on the panel: AM01 to AM24. NOTE: The AM port supports optical power detection only when the AM port is connected to a coherent OTU board that supports the digital optical label function and the board has been configured with optical cross-connections. In this case, if the board has been configured with optical cross-connections in manual mode, attenuation must be manually configured.
