Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 Optical Transponder Board TNG1M502DMC01

Basic function

The board can convert client-side services into OTU signals,the client-side service supports hybrid transmission of different services, for details about the service types, number of channels, and mapping paths supported by different ports, see Applications.

Client-side service type

• 100GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 103.125 Gbit/s
• OTU4: OTN service at a rate of 111.81 Gbit/s
• 10GE LAN: Ethernet service at a rate of 10.31 Gbit/s

Service mapping mode

• 100GE service: Supports bit transparent mapping(100G) and MAC transparent mapping(100G).
• 10GE LAN service: Supports MAC transparent mapping(10.7G) and Bit Transparent Mapping(11.1G IMP+BMP).

NOTE:

The Bit Transparent Mapping(11.1G IMP+BMP) mode can be used for service interconnection with the Bit Transparent Mapping(11.1G) mode.

WDM specification

Supports the DWDM specifications.

Tunable wavelength

Supports tunable wavelengths of WDM-side optical signals in Super C band (1524 nm to 1573 nm).

FEC coding

On the client side:

• Supports forward error correction (FEC) when the client-side service type is OTU4.
• Supports RS_FEC coding when the client-side service type is 100GE.

On the WDM side:

• Supports SDFEC2 and SDFEC coding.

Line modulation format

• Transponder mode: Supports 100G QPSK, and 100G QPSK wDCM.
• Muxponder mode: Supports 100G QPSK, and 100G QPSK wDCM, 200G 16QAM, 200G 16QAM-H, and 200G e16QAM.

Typical channel spacing

• 200G e16QAM: 50GHz+n*6.25GHz(n=0,1,2...)
• 100G QPSK/100G QPSK wDCM/200G 16QAM/200G 16QAM-H: 50GHz*n(n=1,2...)(Only the standard center frequency of 50 GHz is supported.)

OTN overhead

• At the ODU4 layer:
  • Supports PM overhead processing when 100GE/10GE LAN services are received on the client side.
  • Supports PM and TCM overhead processing when OTU4 services are received on the client side. This board supports non-intrusive monitoring of PM and TCM overheads.
• At the ODU2 layer: Supports PM and TCM overhead processing.
• At the ODUC2 layer: Supports PM and TCM overhead processing.
• At the OTU4 layer: Supports SM overhead processing on the client and WDM sides.
• At the OTUC2 layer: Supports SM overhead processing on the WDM side.

LPT

Supports the LPT function when the client-side service is 10GE LAN.

Intra-board 1+1 protection

Supports intra-board 1+1 protection when working with optical protection boards.

Client 1+1 protection

Supported

NOTE:

• When an MPO optical module is used on the client side, the M502DM board does not support client 1+1 protection.
• When 100GE services are received on the client side, client 1+1 protection supports bidirectional switching rather than unidirectional switching. When OTU4 services are received on the client side, client 1+1 protection supports unidirectional switching.
