Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 Optical Transponder Unit TNG1M210D Overview

TNG1M210D: 10 x ANY-rate MUX 2 x OTU2 Wavelength Conversion board

The M210D board is a wavelength conversion board. In the receive direction, the board can receive multiple channels of signals from client equipment, maps these optical signals into two or six channels of OTU2(e) signals, and converts the OTU2(e) signal into a standard DWDM wavelength compliant with ITU-T G.694.1. In the transmit direction, the process is reverse. The M210D board can also apply to electrical regeneration sites to perform electrical regeneration of OTU2(e) optical signals.

The M210D board consists of the client-side optical module, WDM-side optical module, signal processing module, control and communication module, and power supply module.
