TNF5TQX: 4 x 10G Tributary Service Processing Board

The available functional version of the TQX board is TNF5.

TQX boards support optical transport network (OTN) ports and electric supervisory channels (ESCs).

As a type of tributary board, the TQX board converts between four channels of optical signals at a rate in the range of 8 Gbit/s to 10 Gbit/s and four ODU2/ODU2e/ODUflex electrical signals through cross-connections.

The TQX board consists of the client-side optical module, signal processing module, control and communication module, 1588v2 module, and power supply module.

Basic function	Adds/Drops and multiplexes four channels of signals to/from the multiplexed signals.
WDM specification	Supports the DWDM specifications.
Spectrum application	Supports signals with a 100 GHz channel spacing.
Cascading port	Provides the interface to cascade another optical add and drop multiplexing board to achieve expansion.
Optical power detection	The optical multiplexing output port supports detection of optical power sent to the PIN diode.
