TN52SCC: system control and communication board

The SCC board has only one functional version: TN52.

As a system control board, the TN52SCC board collaborates with the NMS to manage other boards in the subrack, and implements inter-equipment communication.

The TN52SCC board manages and controls other boards in the subrack and implements inter-NE communication. It supports subrack cascading and power supply backup, and provides a clock source for system communications.

There are indicators, buttons, and a subrack LED on the front panel of the TN52SCC board.

The TN52SCC board is a single-width board (requiring one slot).

Functions and Features of the TN52SCC Board

Function and Feature	Description
Basic functions	Performs configuration management and reports associated alarms to the NMS. Supports the backup of NE data. When the NE data changes, the real-time database backup function immediately saves the changed configuration data into the storage medium to ensure that no configuration data is lost after the NE is reset (cold) or powered off. This data backup improves the reliability of the NE. Supports the backup of its data to a CF card. The user can back up NE data (except the NE IP, NE ID, Gateway ID, and Node ID) stored on the SCC board and the SCC board software to a CF card. After backing up the data to the CF card, the user does not need to re-provision an NE after replacing the NE's SCC board.
DCN communication	Supports inter-NE communication through IP over DCC or HWECC.
Active/Standby backup	Supports active/standby backup: Two SCC boards are configured for a subrack to provide 1+1 hot backup. If the active SCC board fails, the standby SCC board automatically becomes active.
