TN52DAPXF Is Huawei Optix OSN 6800 Optical Amplifier Board 02311UJM
Huawei Optix OSN 6800 Optical Amplifier Board TN52DAPXF 02311UJM Overview
TN52DAPXF: Extended C-band optical amplifier board with 2 pluggable ports (XFIU embedded)
The DAPXF board is used to amplify optical signals, multiplex and demultiplex the optical supervisory channel and main optical channel. The DAPXF board can be used at either the transmit end or the receive end.
When the logical board of the DAPXF board is set to DAPXF_MEI, the board can be connected to the optical ports of existing FIU boards to implement single-fiber bidirectional dual-OSC configuration expansion for the FIU boards without interrupting services.
The DAPXF board provides the optical amplification function, the FIU board function (main channel and OSC channel multiplexing and demultiplexing). The DAPXF board supports gain adjustment, in-service monitoring of optical performance, gain locking, and transient state control.
The DAPXF board consists of VOAs, EDFA modules, filters, an optical power detection module, a control and communication module, and a power supply module.
Functions and Features of the TN52DAPXF Board
Function and Feature |
Description |
Basic functions |
|
Optical Amplifier Module |
Supports dual pluggable optical amplifier modules TN52OACE101/TN52OACE105/TN52OACE106/TN52OACE107/TN52OACE108/TN51OACE106/TN51OACE107. |
Gain adjustment |
TN52OACE101: Continually adjusts the gain from 20 dB to 31 dB based on the input signal power TN52OACE105: Continually adjusts the gain from 23 dB to 32 dB based on the input signal power TN51OACE106/TN52OACE106: Continually adjusts the gain from 13 dB to 23 dB based on the input signal power. TN51OACE107/TN52OACE107: Continually adjusts the gain from 17 dB to 25 dB based on the input signal power. TN52OACE108: Continually adjusts the gain from 8 dB to 14 dB based on the input signal power. |
In-service optical performance monitoring |
Each optical amplifier unit provides an in-service monitoring port. This port connects to an optical spectrum analyzer or spectrum analyzer unit to monitor the signal power performance without affecting traffic. |
Line fiber quality monitoring |
The DAPXF board can work with the TN12ST2 or AST2 board to use the line fiber quality monitoring function on the NMS, and the NMS will display monitoring figures and data. In this case, the DAPXF board supports online and offline line fiber quality monitoring. The Fiber Doctor Management System Software Fee License needs to be purchased for this function. NOTE: This board can be applied to the single-fiber bidirectional OSC scenario or the two-fiber bidirectional OSC scenario, and FD single-fiber bidirectional detection is supported in the single-fiber bidirectional OSC scenario. |
Gain locking |
The EDFA has the gain locking function. When this function is enabled, adding or dropping one or more channels or signal power fluctuation inside some channels does not affect the signal gain of other channels. |
Working mode |
Supports the gain locking, power locking and APC modes.
|
Transient state control |
The EDFA inside the board has the transient state control function. When channels are added or dropped, the board can suppress the power fluctuation inside the signal channels to support smooth upgrades and expansions. |
Alarms and performance events monitoring |
|
Operating wavelength of the OSC channel |
1491 nm and 1511 nm. |
Optical-layer ASON |
Supported in single-fiber bidirectional (dual-OSC configuration) OSC scenario and two-fiber bidirectional (single-OSC configuration) OSC scenario Not supported in single-fiber bidirectional (single-OSC configuration) OSC scenario |
