DCP: 2-channel optical path protection board

The available functional versions of the DCP board are TN11, TN12 and TN13.

Because it is a type of optical protection unit, the TN13DCP board implements intra-board 1+1 protection , optical wavelength shared protection (OWSP protection) and client-side 1+1 protection.

The TN13DCP board provides intra-board 1+1 protection , OWSP protection and client-side 1+1 protection.

The TN13DCP board contains the optical module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

There are indicators and interfaces on the front panel of the TN13DCP board.

One slot houses one TN13DCP board.

Functions and features of the TN13DCP

Function and Feature	Description
Basic function	Provides intra-board 1+1 protection to protect the services of the OTU, which has no dual-fed and selective receiving function. Compared with the OLP, the DCP provides protection for two signals to implement 1+1 protection. Provides client-side 1+1 protection, using a working OTU and a protection OTU to protect the client-side services. Provides the OWSP protection, make use of two different channels to achieve the protection of one channel of service between all stations.
Spectrum application	Only the TN13DCP01 supports extended C-band wavelengths.
Protection mechanism	Dual-fed and selective receiving. (At the transmit end, the protected signal is dually fed to the working and protection paths. At the receive end, the working or protection signal is selected if it has the higher power level.)
