TN12TD2001: 20-port tunable demultiplexing board. TN97TD20: 20-port tunable demultiplexing board (extended C-band).
The TD20 board has only two functional versions: TN12 and TN97.
As a demultiplexer board, the TD20 board applies to ROADM sites and supports colorless application. It broadcasts a multi-wavelength signal that contains 20 coherent wavelength signals to 20 coherent line boards. Because coherent OTU or line boards support automatic wavelength selection, each of the coherent line boards automatically selects the required signal from the multi-wavelength signal and drops it locally.
The TD20 board provides for colorless drop of a maximum of 20 coherent wavelength signals, broadcast loss compensation, and in-service monitoring of optical power, alarms, and performance.
The TD20 board consists of an optical module, driver and detection module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Provides an in-service monitoring port. Through this optical port, a small number of optical signals can be output to an optical spectrum analyzer or an optical spectrum analyzer board. In this manner, the spectrum and optical performance of the multiplexed optical signals can be monitored without interrupting services. NOTE: The TN97TD20 board does not support the function. |
