TN12OPM801: 8-channel optical power monitor board

The available functional versions of the OPM8 board are TN11 and TN12.

The OPM8 board provides eight ports and each of the ports supports optical power monitor of up to 80 wavelengths.

The OPM8 board is mainly used for optical power monitoring and APE.

The OPM8 board consists of the 1x8 optical switch, optical power monitor module, driving and control module, control and communication module, and power supply module.

Functions and features of the TN12OPM801

Function and Feature	Description
Basic function	The OPM8 board provides eight ports, and each port supports optical power monitoring.
Monitoring function	Detects optical power of each wavelength and reports to the SCC board. TN12OPM8 supports detection of OSNR for 10 Gbit/s, 40 Gbit/s, 100 Gbit/s and 200 Gbit/s signals.The TN12OPM8 board can interoperate with the Optical Doctor management system license. NOTE: OSNR monitoring and power monitoring are not supported for PID boards. Supporting OSNR reporting of 50 GHz wavelength spacing networks but not 37.5 GHz wavelength spacing networks. The results are reported to the SCC and can be displayed on the U2000.
APE function	Implements the APE function when the board is used with other required boards. Monitors the optical power of each channel.
