An FXSO12 board consists of an FXS/FXO module, Cross-connect/mapping module, a logic and control module, a clock module, and a power supply module.

Function and Feature	Description
Basic function	Provides 12 FXS/FXO ports, which can be configured on the NMS.FXS port TX Gain (dB): -12.0 to 0.0, in steps of 0.5. FXS port RX Gain (dB): -6.0 to 5.0, in steps of 0.5. FXO port TX Gain (dB): -16.5 to 13.5, in steps of 0.5. FXO port RX Gain (dB): -16.5 to 11.0, in steps of 0.5. Supports the BROSCHT function.
Service processing	Transmits/Receives and processes 12-channel 64 kbit/s signals.
Overhead processing	Supports the setting and query of the V5 and J2 bytes.
Port specifications	External ports: DDN-1 to DDN-12, representing 12 external ports which always use timeslot 1, with port IDs 1 to 12, respectively. Internal ports: 2M-1 to 2M-12, representing 12 E1 internal ports which use timeslots 1-15 and 17-31, with port IDs 65 to 76, respectively.

Maintenance features	Supports warm and cold resets. The warm reset does not affect services. Supports the query of the manufacturing information of the board.
