TMB1SCC: System Control & Communication Board with OSC

The TMB1SCC board works with the NMS to transmit the management and maintenance signals of each board. The B1STG board supports time synchronization and clock synchronization.

The SCC board consists of the control and processing module, overhead processing module, monitoring module, clock module, management module, switch module, and power supply module.

The SCC board is used for DCC communication, subrack cascading, power supply backup and clock.

Functions and Features of the TMB1SCC Board

Function and Feature	Description
Basic function	Works with the NMS to manage the boards in the equipment and enables the communication between equipment. Processes the related overheads. Processes two optical supervisory channels, and receives and transmits the OSC signals.
Master-Slave subrack	Supports subrack cascading.
Backup mode	Not supported.
DCN	Supported DCN channels: ESC, OSC Supported DCN protocol: HWECC, IP over DCC NOTE: The OSC signals of the TMB1SCC board are FE optical signals and can be connected only to the OSC ports (TM1/RM1 and TM2/RM2) of the SCC boards.
Fan alarm management	Supports fan speed adjustment and fan fault detection, and manages fan alarms.
Power supply management	Checks whether the power input boards can be detected, checks whether overvoltage occurs on the power input boards, and shuts down the power input boards when detecting that the voltage of the input power is low.
