TMB1FXSO12: 12-port FXS/FXO processing board
An FXSO12 board provides 12xFXS/FXO ports, and transmits or receives analog voice signals for voice sessions.
An FXSO12 board consists of an FXS/FXO module, Cross-connect/mapping module, a logic and control module, a clock module, and a power supply module.
An FXS/FXO module provides the BROSCHT function, and performs conversion between analog voice signals and pulse code modulation (PCM) digital signals.
In the receive direction, the FXS/FXO module receives analog voice signals from a DB44 port, and converts them into PCM digital signals through a coder. Then, the FXS/FXO module sends the PCM digital signals to the logic and control module.
In the transmit direction, the FXS/FXO module receives PCM digital signals from the logic and control module, and converts them into analog voice signals through a decoder. Then, the FXS/FXO module sends the analog voice signals to the corresponding DB44 port.
A logic and control module implements the cross-connection, signaling insertion, and framing/mapping of PCM digital signals, and performs conversion between 12-channel PCM digital signals and VC-12 SDH signals.
Writes and reads the register.
Provides interfaces for connection to the CPU.
Checks and selects a clock.
Performs phase discrimination and frequency division for a clock.
Checks whether the cross-connect boards and system control boards can be detected.
Implements communication.
Controls indicators.
