The TMB1EGS4 is used to transmit/receive Ethernet services, manage bandwidths, and realize Layer 2 switching of Ethernet services.

 

The TMB1EGS4 consists of an Ethernet access unit, an encapsulation/mapping unit, a logic control unit, a power supply unit, and a clock unit.

NOTE:

A board can be configured with a maximum of two bridge protocols: IEEE 802.1d and IEEE 802.1ad, or IEEE 802.1q and IEEE 802.1ad.
