Functions and Features

Description

Basic function

1. This board provides eight FE/GE/10GE ports and eight 155 Mbit/s POS ports. By default, the FE/GE ports are enabled, and eight FE/GE ports support line-rate forwarding. To enable other port functions, the corresponding RTU must be used.

2. When FPICs are installed on a motherboard, each motherboard provides two physical subcard slots (0 and 1) and is virtualized into four subcard slots (0, 1, 2, and 3). When a subcard is inserted into slot 0, an ETH subcard is generated in slot 0 and a POS subcard is generated in slot 2. When a subcard is inserted into slot 1, an ETH subcard is generated in slot 1 and a POS subcard is generated in slot 3.

3. Virtual cards are classified into master and slave cards. The master card corresponds to the virtual card slot, and the slave cards correspond to other virtual card slots. The master subcard in a virtual subcard can be powered on or off. If the master subcard is powered on or off, the slave subcard will be affected. (The slave subcard cannot be powered on or off.) The virtual subcard slot supports independent reset. The entire subcard can be reset only by powering off and then powering on the subcard. Only the temperature and voltage of the virtual primary card can be queried.
