CE-SFU08B (Switch Fabric Unit, for CE12808 Chassis)

CE-SFU08B is switching unit of the CE12808 chassis and complete line-speed switching on the data plane. Six switching units are installed in a chassis and work in load balancing and redundancy mode to improve system reliability.

The CE-SFU08B can only be used in the CE12808 chassis.

The CE12808 series switches use a system architecture with separate control plane, data plane, and monitoring plane.

Line-speed data switching	Six CE-SFU08Bs constitute the switching core of the data plane and provide high-speed Serdes channels for LPUs.
Reliability	The CE-SFU08B uses a single-stage multi-plane switch fabric to expand the switching capacity. The system has six switching planes, which work in load balancing and redundancy mode to ensure nonstop service data switching.
