Huawei OptiX RTN 980L IDU Boards SLB1CSHL Is Long Haul Control, Switching, And Timing Board
The functional version of the CSHL is SLB1.
The CSHL is a Hybrid system control, switching, and timing board for the new-generation OptiX RTN 980L. It provides STM-1, STM-4, and GE service ports to converge and schedule various services.
The CSHL provides the functions of 43 Gbit/s packet switching, full time-division cross-connection, system control and communication, and clock processing, and provides GE/FE service ports, STM-1/4 service ports, auxiliary ports, and management ports.
The CSHL consists of the system control and communication unit, packet switching unit, cross-connect unit, clock unit, and service, auxiliary, and management interface unit.
There are indicators, buttons, latches, clock ports, auxiliary ports, management ports, alarm ports, and service ports on the front panel of the CSHL.
The CSHL can be inserted in slots 15 and 20. On the NMS, the CSHL is divided into three logical boards by function and each logical board has a logical slot.
The GE ports and STM-1/STM-4 optical ports on the CSHL support multiple types of SFP modules.
