Huawei RTN 950 Board SL91ISU2 ISU2 Overview

ISU2/SL91ISU2 boards are common IF boards that support Integrated IP microwave and SDH microwave. They also support DC-I power distribution.

The functional versions of the ISU2 board are SL91ISU2 VER.B, SL91ISU2 VER.C, and SL91ISU2 VER.D.

ISU2 boards function as SDH IF boards to transmit SDH microwave services, or as Integrated IP microwave IF boards to transmit Integrated IP microwave services (Native E1+Ethernet or Native STM-1+Ethernet).

If applied to OptiX RTN 950 NEs building TDM microwave networks, ISU2 boards function as large-capacity SDH IF boards to transmit TDM services.

ISU2 boards apply to Integrated IP microwave NEs to transmit one or more of the following services: Native E1 services, Native STM-1 services, Native Ethernet services, and MPLS/PWE3 services.

The ISU2 receives and transmits one channel of IF signals, and provides a management channel and –48 V power supply to the ODU.
