Huawei RTN 900 Series IDU Board SL91IFU2 Overview

The IFU2 is a universal IF board that supports the Integrated IP microwave mode. The IFU2 uses the DC-I power distribution mode.

The functional version of the IFU2 is SL91.

The IFU2 applies to the Integrated IP microwave to transmit one of or a combination of Native E1 services, Native Ethernet services, and Native MPLS/PWE3 services over OptiX RTN 980 (Native E1+Ethernet).

The IFU2 receives and transmits one channel of IF signals, and provides a management channel and –48 V power supply to the ODU.

There are indicators, an IF port, an ODU power switch, and labels on the front panel of the IFU2.

The IFU2 can be inserted in Slots 1 to 14, which have consistent logical slot numbers on the NMS.
