Huawei OTN SDH IF Board SL91IF1 Overview

The IF1 is an SDH IF board. The IF1 board supports the DC-I power distribution mode. The functional version of the IF1 board is SL91.

On OptiX RTN 950 NEs that build a TDM microwave network, IF1 boards function as TDM IF boards to transmit TDM services.

The IF1 board receives and transmits one channel of IF signals, provides a management channel to the ODU, and supplies –48 V power to the ODU.

On the front panel of the IF1 board, there are IF ports, indicators, ODU power switches, and labels.

The IF1 board provides one IF port and one ODU power switch.

Indicators visually communicate the operating status of the IF1 board.

The IF1 board can be inserted in any of slots 1 to 6. The logical slots for the board on the NMS are the same as the physical slots.
