SL91CSH Is Huawei OptiX RTN 950 IDU Board
The CSH is a Hybrid/Packet system control, switching, and timing board.
The functional versions of the CSH are SL91 and SL92.
Compared with the SL91CSH, the SL92CSH incorporates the following new functions:
CSH boards function as system control, switching, and timing boards on OptiX RTN 950 NEs building Hybrid/Packet microwave networks. In this scenario, CSH boards also groom TDM services and Ethernet services. Like CST boards, CSH boards can function as system control, switching, and timing boards on NEs building TDM microwave networks.
The CSH provides the functions of 10 Gbit/s packet switching, full time-division cross-connection, system control and communication, and clock processing, and provides auxiliary ports and management ports.
The CSH consists of the system control and communication unit, packet switching unit, cross-connect unit, clock unit, and power supply unit.
The CSH can be inserted in slots 7 and 8 in the chassis. The logical slots for the CSH on the NMS are the same as the physical slots.
This section describes the technical specifications of the CSH, including the packet switching capability, cross-connect capability, specifications of clocks and wayside service ports, mechanical specifications, and power consumption.
Function and Feature |
Description |
|
Basic functions |
Switching capability |
Supports 10 Gbit/s packet switching. |
Cross-connect capability |
Supports VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 full time-division cross-connections that are equivalent to 32x32 VC-4s. |
|
System control and communication |
Manages, monitors, and controls the running status of the IDU, and works as a communication service unit between the NMS and boards, allowing the NMS to control and manage the NE. |
|
Clock |
Clock source |
Traces the clock source and provides each unit with the system clock and frame headers for service signals and overhead signals. The clock sources that can be traced include:
