SL91EMS6 Is Huawei OptiX RTN 900 Series IDU Board
The SL91EMS6 is an FE/GE EoSDH processing board providing the switching function. It provides four FE electrical ports and two GE ports through SFP optical/electrical modules.
The functional version of the EMS6 is SL91.
The EMS6 transmits Ethernet services over TDM microwave networks or Native Ethernet services of Hybrid microwave networks through third-party SDH optical networks.
The EMS6 receives/transmits one channel of GE packet-plane signals through the backplane and four channels of FE signals and two channels of GE signals, and encapsulates these Ethernet signals into SDH signals so that they can be transmitted over an SDH network. The EMS6 supports transparent service transmission and Layer 2 switching.
There are indicators, four FE ports, and two SFP GE ports on the front panel.
The EMS6 can be inserted in Slots 1 to 6, which have consistent logical slot numbers on the NMS.
The GE port on the EMS6 supports multiple types of SFP modules.
This section describes the technical specifications of the EMS6, including the specifications of GE ports and FE ports, mechanical specifications, and power consumption.
